Full-service package incorporates over 35,000 premium live sporting events with live odds for in-play betting
Athens, 03 February 2020: Vermantia, a leader in omni-channel content solutions, has launched a customised Live Sports Channel, for OPAP, the leading Greek gaming operator, across selected OPAP stores through Vermantia’s low latency streaming service.
Benefitting from the latest in technology via supplier’s market proven CONNECT platform, OPAP benefits from Vermantia’s flexible betting solution, combining distribution and content management. As part of the solution, Vermantia designed a Content Management System (CMS) to accommodate OPAP’s need to deliver the best customer experience, enabling the operator to manually override schedules on demand.
The customised offering, is based on the aggregation of top-quality live sporting events with a strong betting value, supplied on a proper daily schedule in combination with statistics for each event, along with live odds for in-play betting from the OPAP’s trading unit and live commentary.
With over 35,000 events annually from Perform and Sportradar’s premium live sports content portfolio, customers are set to experience live action, including football, basketball, tennis as well as volleyball. A further provision has also been agreed to integrate additional sports in the future effortlessly through Vermantia CONNECT, including table tennis and badminton.
